Traditionally, built structures and hardscape have done the heavy lifting when it comes to managing water and runoff in our landscapes. While that is often still the case, we now recognize that plants, soils, and natural systems have a greater role to play. They offer dynamic solutions that add ecological benefits and build resilience. This presentation will address general goals of managing water that falls on the landscape, then explore strategies for choosing plants adapted to support those goals.
